The System of Counteracting Corruption is a part of the management system oriented at ensuring confidence in the fact that organisation has implemented solutions eliminating or significantly reducing the possibility of occurrence of corruption phenomena, and that it is supervising and improving these solutions.

The System of Counteracting Corruption focuses on the causes and not on the effects of corruption activities. This is not a system “prosecuting corruption”, but one that prevents occurrence of the same, which is often synonymous with the possibility of committing a deliberate mistake, or even an involuntary one. The employees’ awareness of correct behaviour is of great importance here. The System of Counteracting Corruption is a standard to be implemented in organisations, which means working out principles of procedure, suitable policies, procedures and measurement tools. The System was created in response to the need of all actions undertaken by organisations in order to eliminate corruption being expressed in one coherent system, and as a tool for the Management of an organisation.
